Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
Interested in coastal rowing? Preparing to attend coastal races? Exploring the world through coastal touring? We have an event for you! Row NS and Rowing at Lunenburg Yacht Club are hosting a coastal rowing weekend June 22 and 23 2019. Guylaine Bernier, former national team member, FISA umpire, sports leader and an avid proponent of coastal rowing, will be here to help us kick start coastal rowing in Nova Scotia, on the beautiful waters of Mahone Bay.
Saturday, June 22 PM: Presentation on coastal rowing, racing and touring followed by an on-water session to try out coastal boats and practice racing techniques. Open to rowers, coaches and umpires and regatta organizers.
Sunday, June 23 AM; Learn how to row and race coastal boats by rowing a coastal course. Open to rowers from any club. Registration is limited to the first 24 participants and the deadline is Monday June 17 at midnight.
