This position will offer one coach in Nova Scotia the opportunity to apprentice with a senior and experienced coach throughout the summer. Through this apprenticeship, the Apprentice Coach will gain valuable practical skills, a formal coach mentorship opportunity, and work towards certification in the RCA Coach stream. The goal of the apprenticeship is to prepare coaches to be a successful club coach and positively impact the club system in years to come.

The role of the Row Nova Scotia (Row NS) Coastal Rowing Coordinator will be to work closely with the Row NS Provincial Coach, Technical Director, Administrative Staff, and Board of Directors to assist in the development of coastal rowing in Nova Scotia that continues to make Nova Scotia successful on the National and International stages.
The Coastal Rowing Coordinator will support Row NS in providing opportunities for Nova Scotians to try coastal rowing. The position will give the coordinator valuable practical skills in organizing and hosting events, coaching under the guidance of the Technical Director, and work towards certification in the Learn to Row stream of the National Coach Certification Program.
