Nova Scotia Rowers Excel at Royal Canadian Henley Regatta and Henley Masters Regatta

Nova Scotia rowers had an outstanding showing at the 2019 Royal Canadian Henley Regatta and Henley Masters Regatta from August 4-11, 2019 in St. Catharines, ON.  This year Nova Scotia clubs had an unprecedented 8 boats make A Finals at Henley and 7 boats in Finals at Henley Masters in addition to numerous boats narrowly missing finals and semi-finals.

  • Emerson Crick (HRC) – 3rd in the U19 Men’s Single
  • Hannah Meeson (NSRC) – 4th in the U23 Women’s Lightweight Single
  • Hannah Meeson & Kayla Bugeya Miller (NSRC) – 2nd in the Senior Women’s Lightweight Pair
  • Kayla Bugeya Miller (NSRC) – 6th in the Senior Women’s Lightweight Single
  • Jenna Pelham & Sofia Donnecke (NSRC) – 3rd in the Senior Women’s Double
  • Jenna Pelham, Shannon MacAulay, Brienne Miller, Sofia Donnecke (NSRC) – 2nd in the Senior Women’s Quad
  • Julia Mills (NSRC) – 2nd in the Women’s Lightweight Single Dash
  • Steven Randall (NSRC) – 3rd in the Men’s Single Dash
  • Camen Raiche-Marsden (MMAAC) – 2nd in the Women’s Masters AA-D 59kg Single
  • Grace Gillis & Joy Fraser (MMAAC) – 3rd in the Women’s Masters AA-B Double
  • Spencer Scott & Jonathan Tyson (MMAAC/HRC) – 4th in the Men’s Masters E Double
  • Grace Gillis, Joy Fraser, Meg MacDougall, Kerry Mellett (MMAAC) – 6th in the Women’s Masters AA-B Quad
  • Tracy Brown & Michelle Raiche-Marsden (MMAAC) – 4th in the Women’s Masters C Double
