Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
Ben Walls (North Star Rowing Club) was named to the Canadian NextGen Team that competed at the U21 Trans-Tasman Regatta at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand from August 22 to 24, 2019. For Walls, who is currently studying and rowing at the University of Victoria, this was his first selection to a Canadian National Program.
In New Zealand, Ben placed third in the Men’s Lightweight Double alongside Jonathan Cinquina (ON) and again placed third in the Men’s Quad alongside Jonathan Cinquina (ON), Thomas Markewich (SK), Sam Stewart (ON).
