Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
Due to the current state of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia and the rest of Canada, Row NS is canceling our first on-water regatta of the season, the Ice Breaker Regatta, scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2021. We continue to work with Sport Nova Scotia and the Province of Nova Scotia to ensure that we do our best to limit the spread of COVID-19, keep our members safe, and advocate in the best interest of rowing in the province. We continue to work towards hosting regattas and events in person in Nova Scotia and continue to plan for events in the summer and fall of this season.
While this is unfortunate news, we are planning a virtual event that will take place on the weekend of May 28-30, 2021, the Ice Breaker Regatta was scheduled for. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to keep rowers engaged, motivated, and competitive in an environment that is safe. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
