Row Nova Scotia is pleased to host the 13th Annual Ice Breaker Regatta & Skills Event on Saturday May 26, 2018 on Lake Banook in Dartmouth.
The Ice Breaker Regatta is an annual regatta hosted by Row Nova Scotia on Lake Banook and Lake Mic Mac in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This regatta is a head race format that has athletes complete a 4.3km loop of the two lakes. This regatta aligns with the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model outlined by Rowing Canada Aviron that has athletes competing at long distances early in the season. The Ice Breaker is open to Novice, Junior, Under 23, Senior, Masters and Para athletes.
