Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
We recently canceled the First Aid Training scheduled for in early May due to low numbers, but we have been able to reschedule for Saturday, July 6.
We are pleased to host an Emergency First Aid with Level C (adults, children and babies) CPR and AED Training to our membership including coaches, umpires, volunteers and rowers. This course is a 1 day course taking place on Saturday, July 6, 2019, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm at the Sport Nova Scotia Office building. The course is an 8 hour classroom training dealing with life-threatening conditions. Its a hands-on skill training course including, preparing yourself for an emergency, keeping yourself safe, and responding to the emergency. CPR, respiratory conditions, heart conditions, choking, bleeding are some of the main areas. The course will be facilitated by Lifesaving Society Nova Scotia. The course is being offered at $75.00 for the course, manual and certification.
