Todd and Ellison Recognized By Rowing Canada

Nova Scotia’s Andrew Todd (North Star Rowing Club) and Claire Ellison (Halifax Rowing Club) have been recognized by Rowing Canada Aviron for their strong 2019 rowing seasons.

Todd was recognized as the co-recipient of the Para Athlete of the Year award alongside Kyle Fredrickson (Victoria). The duo won the gold medal at the 2019 World Championship PR3 men’s pair.

Ellison was recognized with two awards – the Junior Athlete of the Year and the Tony Zasada Memorial Fund Award. Ellison is coming off a year where she rowed in the Canadian junior women’s quad who placed 4th at the World Rowing Junior Championships and a gold medal in the junior women’s single at the National Rowing Championships.
