Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
Are you looking for some hands on experience driving a safety boat in preparation for Nova Scotia Sprints – Bud Myra Memorial Regatta or future regattas?
Row Nova Scotia is offering a safety boat driving sessions on Wednesday July 24 from 6:30pm-8:00pm for those wishing to gain more experience driving a motor boat and assisting crews on the water. The safety boat sessions will take place on Lake Banook and will be run out of North Star Rowing Club, led by RNS apprentice coach Hannah Meeson. Each session only has space for up to 4 participants who must have their Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC – Boaters License) as required by Transport Canada. A PCOC can be obtained by taking an online boating safety course such as the one provided by BOATERexam.com.
