It was a unique year and its effects were felt across many aspects of our lives, including rowing. The pandemic forced Row NS, our Clubs, and our members to be adaptable, innovative, and flexible, among many other things. We are very proud at Row NS that every Club in the province opened its doors this season and offered rowing to its community and its members. The rowing community stayed strong and provided many benefits – physical, mental, and social – to Nova Scotians. This year we saw many individuals in our membership step up at their Clubs and continue striving to reach excellence in the sport of rowing. In 2020, without the presence of regattas, excellence may have a different meaning to some, but it doesn’t mean excellence wasn’t achieved. Congratulations to the 2020 Row NS Award Winners.
