Row Nova Scotia is pleased to announce Rick Storm from Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club as the Head Coach for the Nova Scotia Rowing Team that will represent the province at the 2022 Canada Games this summer taking place in Niagara, Ontario from August 6 to 21, 2022.
Rick brings a wealth of experience to the team. Rick has over thirty years of rowing and coaching experience and is currently the Head Coach with Mic Mac AAC Rowing Club. He started rowing in his early years winning several Henley medals and continues to row to this day. Rick started coaching rowing in 1990, coaching high school for many years. In 2005 Rick began coaching for the St. Catharines Rowing Club. He became Head Coach for the Jr. A
Mens program from 2012 to 2014, leading his crews to 4 Henley Gold medals. During this time Rick was invited as an Assistant Coach with the Jr. National Team winter training camp at Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia.
