Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
The Patrick Convey Recognition Award was established to celebrate and remember the life of Patrick Convey. The annual award is given to Nova Scotia rowing athletes and others involved in the sport of rowing. Our award is given to individuals who best exemplify the traits that made Patrick a special person – specifically, people with a passion for sharing their gifts, a commitment to rowing in Nova Scotia and an athletic achievement in rowing.
We accept self-nominations and nominations of athletes, coaches and others involved in the sport of rowing. That means individuals can apply for themselves or nominate someone who they feel meets our criteria. Past applicants and past recipients are welcome to reapply
Our award recognizes both youth and older athletes and the differing life experience and rowing resumes. We have 2 categories based on age: Category 1 is open to those age 25 years or younger; Category 2 is open to those age 26 years and older.
The deadline to apply has been extended to Wednesday October 17, 2018 at midnight.
