Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
The 2021 National Rowing Championships (NRCs) will be held in Burnaby, British Columbia from November 10-14, 2021. The NRCs are Canada’s National Small Boat Championships, where Canada’s best rowers compete to be named National Champions, and to be identified for future National Teams as well as nominations to Sport Canada’s Athlete Assistance Program (Carding). Selection to represent Nova Scotia at the NRC’s will be highly competitive and highly selective.
The 2021 NRCs will run from November 10-14 in Victoria, BC. Selection will involve a criterion-based pre-selection and/or an on water selection event on Lake Banook September 18, 2021. Athletes are encouraged to meet the pre-selection criteria in order to minimize the expense of last minute flight booking. Due to COVID-19 there will be no Canada Cup event or banquet.
