Board of Directors – Call For Expressions of Interest

Row Nova Scotia (Row NS) is seeking expressions of interest for individuals to fill vacant positions on the Row NS Board of Directors. The Row NS Board of Directors consists of a President, Treasurer, Secretary and Director at Large positions. The mandate of the Board is to set the director of the organization and ensure sustainability by collectively directing the actions and affairs to meet its strategic objectives.

Row NS Board Members meet in person, or via teleconference, approximately once a month and at other times throughout the year as necessary. Board Members also serve on one, or more, of the Row NS Committees, adhoc committees and working groups and as such, provide leadership and guidance to these Committees on an ongoing basis. All elected Board of Director positions are two-year terms with the ability of re-election. Board members are nominated and approved at the Annual General Meeting.

If you feel you offer competencies, skills, and experience that could assist Row NS and are interested in contributing your expertise to our progressive and innovative organization, please send Row NS your expression of interest. The expression of interest should explain who you are, which position you are interested in, why you would like to join the Board, and what experience, skills or competencies you bring.
