Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
We are saddened to announce the cancellation of our two fall regattas in 2020. The Atlantic Rowing Championships & Atlantic University Rowing Championships and the Really Chili Regatta scheduled in October on Lake Banook in Dartmouth have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and its widespread effects on Canada and the rowing community in Nova Scotia.
Row NS and the organizing committee has determined that the inability to sanction regattas at this time, in addition to other contributing factors, it is in the best interest of Row NS, the Nova Scotia rowing community to cancel these events.
In the meantime Row NS will continue to support our rowing clubs and will continue to plan for the winter season and the 2021 on-water rowing season in order to provide the best possible events in the future. We hope to see you at our regattas in 2021!
