Row Nova Scotia developing, promoting and growing the sport of rowing in Nova Scotia
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic Row NS was forced to cancel our first on-water regatta of the season, the Ice Breaker Regatta, scheduled for Saturday May 30, 2020. Great work by everyone who participated in our Virtual Ice Breaker Regatta May 29 – May 31, 2020. This was our first time hosting a virtual regatta and we were happy to see the rowing community participate last weekend with limited access to ergs. One participant noted, “I pictured the course as I went through – at least there was no risk of hitting the bridge!”
The winners of our random draw for a $25 gift card to a local business in Nova Scotia were: Karen Kinley (LYC), Mieke Hagesteijn (HRC), Brad McIlwain (MMAAC), and Linda Lee (HRC).
