Crick Wins Bronze Medals at National Rowing Championships

Rowers from across the country converged on Elk Lake in Victoria, BC. this past weekend for the 2021 RCA National Rowing Championships hosted by Rowing BC and Rowing Canada Aviron. This regatta crowns National Champions in the singles and pairs. The small boat racing format – singles and pairs – gives a true assessment of the fastest rowers in the country.  For many athletes, this regatta serves as a development opportunity on their path to represent Canada on the world stage.

Team Nova Scotia sent a team of five athletes, which included Brienne Miller, Sophie Inkpen, Jana Peachey, Emerson Crick, and Tom Stender, to test themselves against National Team members, World Champions and Olympic Medallists. Congratulations to Team Nova Scotia on their impressive racing at the 2021 National Rowing Championships this past weekend in Victoria, BC.

The Team NS results were highlighted by Emerson Crick (NSRC) who finished 3rd in the Final A of the Open Lightweight Men’s Single event winning bronze in both the U23 and Senior Lightweight Single.
