DESCRIPTION:Row Nova Scotia (RNS) is delighted to collaborate with Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) to host the 2025 RCA National Beach Sprint Selection Trial. In July\, athletes from all over Canada will come together at Rissers Beach to compete for a place to represent Canada at the World Rowing Beach Sprint Championships\, held October 23-26 in Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil. Row Nova Scotia is confident that this event will serve as a showcase for the stunning Nova Scotia beaches and provide athletes with an authentic coastal racing experience. \nRow Nova Scotia would like to extend its best wishes to all the athletes and coaches and encourage everyone to explore our wonderful province. \nLooking to volunteer? DESCRIPTION:LYC Rowing is looking forward to hosting you on one or more of it’s 1-day Coastal Rowing Tours. \n​Enjoy rowing the beautiful islands and historic waterways of Mahone Bay\, while experiencing the unique UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg and surrounding area. Hosted by Lunenburg Yacht Club Rowing\, with support from Row NS\, each of the 3\, 1-day Coastal Rowing Tours will let participants explore different areas of Mahone Bay – from the scenic islands\, to the coastal inlets\, to the famous Three Churches in the town of Mahone Bay! Sign up today! \nTour 1 – Saturday\, July 26\, 2025\nLaunching from LYC\, we’ll row out to and through the islands of Indian Point\, and then back to Andrew’s Island for a swim and picnic lunch. Distance approximately 16-18 km.
